28 Degrees Taurus – How Do You Like Your Love? – CD
(28 Degrees Taurus) This CD starts off with the tune “Single Suicide Mode” which has a hypnotic guitar swirl sound and steady rhythmic beat that reminds me of the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The female vocals have an early ’90s college radio sound to them which is a plus in my book. “Waves of Love” is a playful tune, while “Crash & Burn” has a little bite to it. I’m not a big instrumental guy, but the tune “Love is Underwater” has a dreamy quality about it that’s almost a cross between The Cure and The Cranes. It just drags you in. Then again, the same thing can be said for every tune on this excellent release.
