(Recess Records) I love just about everything about this release. From the cover art to the wonderful pop punk sound of the songs, it’s all top notch. Half of the album is originals and half is classic covers. I have to say that while I loved the originals, I could have done without some of the covers. Down By Laws treatment of “The Kids are Alright” is great. Their cover of AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie” is also killer, and there’s also an AC/DC-ish riff on their original “Down & Out.” {Howard X}
