(American Pop Project) Surf from Canada? Well granted, these guys have far more to do with sixties sci-fi movies than surfboards. “X-Minus-One” is a very ambient CD. Okay I know that sounds stupid but, it’s the best word I could come up with. It would certainly make a great soundtrack for a MysteryScienceTheatre marathon. A spacey organ swimming over a brooding rhythm section, there are some points when I could actually imagine little green men abducting the man from U.N.C.L.E. from a beach in Hawaii, plus it’s “recorded in Full Dynamic GALACTIC STEREO!”.
