(Reed Waddle) This guy sounds like a throwback to the jazz influenced rock of the 70′s, like a mix of Steely Dan and Jackson Browne. OK later he mixes it up a bit with influences ranging from John MayerDave Matthews and Ryan Adams with varying results. I think he’s at his best when he’s being playful with his rhythms and lyrics like on “Love Ain’t Always on Time”. He even branches out a bit and tries out some reggae on “Remember the Roses” with better than expected results. Overall I’d say that Reed Waddle has a future in the realm of John Mayer styled rock. He has the voice and the songwriting ability to make himself a light-rock pop star.
