(Mother West) For some reason every time I pop this in I think of The Police from “Regatta De Blanc”. There’s just something about his voice and the musical style. As the songs progress it loses that feeling. With it’s acoustically lead sound I start to think of how Speed Dial would be a great match for local heroes Shrug. But they also incorporate elements of alternative country ala Bottle Rockets and a bit of Cracker. To top it off the play great catchy, slightly off-kilter songs that are unique and interesting.
