The Hipperoos are an instrumental jam band with focus on the guitar. Their studio release, Cornered, left something to be desired. The music sounded like it was done for some cheap ‘how to’ video. The live CD , The Extemporaneous Hipperoos, has a little more bite to it, but compared to one of Dayton’s great instrumental bands, The Mulchmen, this release just falls flat as well. Would be a good house band for the ‘how to’ video stage show. {Mite}
