Slow Fore – Oil – CD
(Espo Records) I like the instrumental tracks that begin and end the CD. I also like the lyrics, but the vocals just plain stink. I started off liking the music for the rest of the tracks, but as the CD progressed all the songs ended up sounding almost exactly the same. The mixing and the overall recording, especially the drums, just don’t cut it as well. I would suggest the band step back and take a deep breath.
